Which sticks fit which device

Sticks only fit the device platform they were made for: TEREA, DELIA and LEVIA fit IQOS ILUMA; VIRTO and RIVO fit glo Hilo; and VEO and NEO fit glo HYPER. EVO and LYO are for Ploom, BLENDS and BEYOND are for BONDS by IQOS, and FIIT is for lil SOLID.

Formats are not interchangeable. The chamber shape, stick dimensions and heating method differ between platforms. TEREA will not work in a blade-based IQOS 3 DUO, VEO will not work in glo Hilo, and an IQOS stick will not work in glo. Use the matrix below before ordering. All products contain nicotine unless stated otherwise; tobacco-free means no tobacco, not nicotine-free.

glo HYPER is a platform rather than the current Hilo platform. The glo Hyper Pro is discontinued, but VEO, NEO and Kent remain the lines assigned to glo HYPER. Do not treat Hilo and HYPER as interchangeable.

Why the formats are not interchangeable

Each manufacturer builds its stick around a particular chamber. glo chambers are wider and shorter than ILUMA’s, so glo sticks and IQOS sticks have different shapes. Ploom heats a stick from the outside, while glo heats it in a chamber. These differences affect the fit and the way heat reaches the material.

IQOS ILUMA uses induction. A metal susceptor is inside the stick itself, and the holder has no blade. That is why TEREA replaced HEETS when ILUMA arrived. HEETS and TEREA are not interchangeable, and no stick in this catalogue works in a blade-based IQOS 3 DUO or older IQOS device.

BONDS by IQOS uses ROUNDHEAT, applying heat around the stick rather than through a blade. Its sticks have no metal susceptor. Ploom heats from the outside at a lower temperature than IQOS or glo. Three buying mistakes to avoid

Buying TEREA for a blade IQOS

TEREA is for IQOS ILUMA series devices only. It is not for IQOS 3 DUO or older blade-based models. If your device has a heated blade, do not order TEREA. The ILUMA holder uses induction and has no blade, so its stick system is different.

Buying VEO for a glo Hilo

VEO is for the glo HYPER platform, not glo Hilo. Hilo is the current glo platform with its own stick format. For Hilo, choose VIRTO or RIVO. For HYPER, choose VEO, NEO or Kent.

Buying any IQOS stick for a glo

TEREA, DELIA and LEVIA are IQOS ILUMA lines. They do not fit glo Hilo or glo HYPER. glo uses its own line groups, and IQOS stick formats do not fit glo, Ploom or lil. If the device brand and platform do not match the chart, do not rely on the stick looking similar.

• IQOS ILUMA, ILUMA PRIME, ILUMA ONE or ILUMA i: choose TEREA, DELIA or LEVIA. TEREA contains real tobacco and some flavours have a capsule. DELIA contains real tobacco and has no capsule. LEVIA is tobacco-free but contains nicotine.
• IQOS 3 DUO or an older blade IQOS: none of the stocked lines are compatible. Do not substitute TEREA for HEETS.
• glo Hilo or Hilo Plus: choose VIRTO or RIVO. VIRTO contains real tobacco. RIVO is tobacco-free and contains nicotine; most RIVO sticks carry a Twist capsule.
• glo HYPER: choose VEO, NEO or Kent. VEO is tobacco-free and contains nicotine, with a capsule in every stick. NEO and Kent contain real tobacco.
• Ploom AURA, Ploom X Advanced or Ploom X: choose EVO. LYO is for Ploom AURA only, not every Ploom model.
• BONDS by IQOS: choose BLENDS or BEYOND. BLENDS contains real tobacco. BEYOND is tobacco-free and contains nicotine.
• lil SOLID Ez or another lil SOLID family device: choose FIIT. FIIT is a shorter format and contains real tobacco.

Line-by-line differences, tobacco content and prices

Compatibility is the first decision. After that, choose between real tobacco and tobacco-free nicotine sticks, then check capsule availability and price. Tobacco-free does not mean nicotine-free: LEVIA, RIVO, VEO, LYO and BEYOND all contain nicotine.

For example, buying VEO because it is priced like other glo sticks does not make it suitable for Hilo. The platform comes first; price and stick type come second.

What the device design changes

Within the IQOS ILUMA family, the heating method stays the same. ILUMA PRIME has identical heating to standard ILUMA; its higher price is for the housing, including a textured sleeve and open cradle. ILUMA ONE is an all-in-one device with no pocket charger, so it is one object but stops when its battery is empty.

glo Hilo and Hilo Plus use the same heating platform and sticks. Hilo Plus has a bigger battery, while the heat-up and session are the same. Ploom provides a softer draw and less smell in the room than IQOS or glo, but heavy smokers may find it too mild. lil SOLID Ez is a simple one-body device with one button and a removable cap for cleaning.

A note on nicotine, flavours and age

All tobacco-free lines in this catalogue contain nicotine. “Tobacco-free” describes the absence of tobacco, not the absence of nicotine. LEVIA uses processed plant or cellulose fibre carrying nicotine; the other tobacco-free lines are RIVO, VEO, LYO and BEYOND. No product on this page is nicotine-free.

EU Directive 2022/2100 applies from 23 October 2023 and bans characterising flavours in heated tobacco products across the EU. It covers heated tobacco products. Tobacco-free nicotine sticks sit under different national rules, which vary by member state. Product availability can therefore differ between countries.
