BLENDS and BEYOND are the two stick lines made for BONDS by IQOS: BLENDS contain real tobacco, while BEYOND is tobacco-free but still contains nicotine. Both cost EUR 65 per carton and work with BONDS devices using ROUNDHEAT rather than a blade or an induction susceptor.

The main reason to choose these sticks is price. A carton is EUR 11 less than TEREA, and the BONDS device costs EUR 35 compared with EUR 90 for an IQOS ILUMA kit. That makes BONDS the lower-cost route, although it is a separate format and cannot use TEREA, LEVIA or other IQOS ILUMA sticks. What is the difference between BLENDS and BEYOND?

The basic distinction is straightforward: BLENDS contain real tobacco, while BEYOND is tobacco-free. BEYOND is made from processed plant or cellulose fibre carrying nicotine rather than tobacco leaf. Tobacco-free does not mean nicotine-free. BEYOND contains nicotine, which is addictive.

Neither line uses a capsule. That separates both ranges from products where a capsule changes the profile after being pressed. BLENDS has a single profile per stick, and BEYOND also has no capsule mechanism. The available products are therefore selected by their listed profile rather than by a capsule option.

There is also a practical compatibility difference between BONDS and other heated-stick systems. BLENDS and BEYOND are for BONDS by IQOS. They do not fit IQOS ILUMA, glo, Ploom or lil SOLID devices. IQOS stick formats are not interchangeable with glo, Ploom or lil formats.

How ROUNDHEAT works

BONDS by IQOS uses ROUNDHEAT, which applies heat around the stick rather than through a blade. BLENDS and BEYOND sticks have no metal susceptor. The construction is therefore simpler than TEREA, which contains a metal susceptor for the induction system in IQOS ILUMA.

That design difference affects which sticks you can buy for each device. ILUMA has no blade and heats TEREA or other compatible ILUMA sticks by induction. BONDS uses its own ROUNDHEAT format. A BONDS stick is not an alternative TEREA stick, and TEREA is not a BONDS stick.

The lack of a susceptor also helps explain the price difference in this catalogue. BLENDS and BEYOND cost EUR 65 per carton, while TEREA costs EUR 76 per carton. The lower price is linked to the simpler stick construction and BONDS’s entry-level positioning. It is not a claim that the two lines are identical in design or performance.

Do not use these sticks in blade-based IQOS 3 DUO or older IQOS devices either. Those devices use a heated blade, while ILUMA and BONDS use different heating systems.

Which BLENDS products are available?

Red Classics is the strongest option by the listed body rating and has no cooling rating. Silver and Gold have no cooling rating either, but Silver is listed with a body rating of 2/5 and Gold with 3/5. Green is the only listed BLENDS product with a cooling rating, at 2/5.

These are real tobacco sticks. They are not tobacco-free alternatives and should not be described as nicotine-free. The range may suit someone who wants BONDS compatibility with a tobacco-containing stick, but the choice is narrower than a capsule-led range.

Which BEYOND products are available?

BEYOND contains no tobacco leaf. It is a tobacco-free nicotine-stick line for BONDS by IQOS. As with other tobacco-free products in this catalogue, that does not mean nicotine-free. BEYOND contains nicotine, which is addictive.

The recurring difference is EUR 11 per carton. Across 52 cartons, that is EUR 572 before including the device. The initial device difference adds another EUR 55, producing a first-year example difference of EUR 627.

This comparison does not make BONDS interchangeable with ILUMA. You are choosing a different heating platform and a different stick range. BEYOND or LEVIA: which tobacco-free line is cheaper?

BEYOND is cheaper at the carton level: EUR 65 compared with EUR 73 for LEVIA. Both are tobacco-free nicotine-stick lines, but they serve different devices. BEYOND works with BONDS by IQOS. LEVIA works only with the IQOS ILUMA series.

There is no direct upgrade path between them through the stick alone. If you have BONDS, BEYOND is the relevant tobacco-free option in this comparison. If you have ILUMA, LEVIA is the relevant line. Buying the cheaper carton does not remove the need for the matching device.

What should you choose?

Choose BLENDS if you want real tobacco in the BONDS format. Choose BEYOND if you want a tobacco-free nicotine stick and accept that tobacco-free does not mean nicotine-free. Within BLENDS, the catalogue ratings put Red Classics at the highest body level and Green Classics as the only listed product with a cooling rating. Within BEYOND, Deep Mint has the highest cooling rating.

Choose BONDS if the lower device and carton prices matter more than using the ILUMA platform. Its EUR 35 device and EUR 65 cartons are the lowest-cost option between the two systems compared here. The trade-off is that BONDS has its own format and cannot use TEREA or LEVIA.
