RIVO

RIVO is the tobacco-free line built for glo Hilo, the newest glo platform. It is the range glo is putting its flavour development into, and it shows: the profiles are more adventurous than anything in the Hyper-era catalogue.

Most of the range carries a Twist capsule. The stick opens on one profile and switches to a second when you crush it, which on the Hilo’s faster heat-up cycle lands more sharply than the same trick does on Hyper.

No tobacco leaf is used, so there is no tobacco base note and very little residual smell. Nicotine is still there.

RIVO only fits the Hilo chamber — glo Hilo and Hilo Plus. It will not go into a Hyper device. The tobacco alternative on the same platform is VIRTO.

Which one to start with

The Twist capsules make this range hard to judge from the name alone, since every stick is really two profiles. A menthol-led Twist is the most forgiving place to start; the fruit-led ones are better once you know how the Hilo session runs.

Price and packaging

Sticks are sold by the box: 10 packs, 200 sticks, €76 per box. Single packs are not available, which is deliberate — the price per stick is noticeably lower this way, and it is how nearly every order here is placed.

Device compatibility

These sticks work with glo Hilo and glo Hilo Plus. See the device pages if you are not sure which model you own. Sticks built for another platform will not fit, and forcing one damages the chamber.
