VEO and VIRTO sticks

VEO sticks work only with the glo HYPER platform, while VIRTO sticks work only with glo Hilo. That is the decision that matters: the two ranges are not interchangeable. VEO is tobacco-free, contains nicotine and has a capsule in every stick. VIRTO contains real tobacco, has no capsule and is made for the newer Hilo platform.

The ranges also differ in price and profile. VEO cartons cost EUR 68 and cover nine stocked products, all with a capsule and a lighter body rating. VIRTO cartons cost EUR 76 and cover five tobacco profiles, with no capsule and stronger body ratings on some options. Choose by your device first, then by tobacco content and format.

The difference between VEO and VIRTO

VEO and VIRTO are both glo stick lines, but they belong to different platforms. VEO is for glo HYPER only. VIRTO is for glo Hilo only. A VEO stick will not fit a Hilo device, and a VIRTO stick will not fit a HYPER device.

That platform split is more important than the flavour name or the brand family. glo chambers are wider and shorter than ILUMA’s, so glo stick shapes differ from IQOS formats. Stick formats are not interchangeable between glo, IQOS, Ploom and lil devices.

What VEO sticks are

VEO is a tobacco-free stick line for the glo HYPER platform only. Tobacco-free does not mean nicotine-free: VEO contains nicotine. The stick uses processed plant or cellulose fibre carrying nicotine rather than a tobacco leaf.

Every VEO stick has a capsule. The stocked range uses Click and Twist names, but the practical point is the same: this is a capsule range rather than a plain stick range. The verified flavour notes cover cooling, fruit and citrus-led profiles, with the catalogue ratings showing body at 2 out of 5 across all nine stocked VEO products.

VEO may suit an adult user who has a compatible glo HYPER device and wants a tobacco-free nicotine stick with a capsule. It is not suitable for glo Hilo, and it is not a nicotine-free alternative. The price is EUR 68 per carton, matching the listed price for NEO, Kent and other glo HYPER lines.

The glo HYPER platform is different from Hilo. Hilo is the current glo platform and reaches temperature faster with a shorter, more concentrated session than Hyper. That difference does not make the sticks cross-compatible.

Which VEO products are stocked?

The nine stocked VEO products all have a capsule and are tobacco-free. Their catalogue body rating is 2 out of 5. Cooling varies, so the table is useful if you want to narrow the range without relying on the product names alone.

What VIRTO sticks are

VIRTO is a real-tobacco stick line designed for glo Hilo only. It has no capsule, so the profile comes from the stick itself rather than a twist or click mechanism. The five stocked products are tobacco profiles with body ratings from 2 to 4 out of 5.

VIRTO is the relevant choice when the device is glo Hilo or glo Hilo Plus. Hilo Plus uses the same heating platform, heat-up, session and sticks as Hilo, but has a bigger battery. The finishes of the Hilo range do not change the stick compatibility.

The price is EUR 76 per carton. That is EUR 8 more than a VEO carton. The extra cost does not buy a capsule: VIRTO has none. It buys a different stick line, with real tobacco and a Hilo-only format.

glo Hilo heats the stick in a chamber and runs a shorter, more concentrated session than Hyper. The chamber shape is also different from an ILUMA chamber. Do not use VEO, VIRTO or other glo sticks in IQOS, Ploom or lil devices.

Which VIRTO product should you choose?

The VIRTO range is simpler than VEO because there are no capsules and no fruit-led entries listed here. The main distinction is tobacco body, with Azure Tobacco adding the only listed cooling sensation.

Choose Azure Tobacco if a gentle cooling sensation matters. Choose Balanced Tobacco for a warm, toasted character, or Copper Tobacco for the softest body rating in the list. Classic Tobacco and Signature Tobacco are both rated 4 out of 5 for body. These choices only make sense if you use glo Hilo or Hilo Plus.

VEO or VIRTO: which line fits you?

Start with the device you already own. For glo HYPER, choose VEO if you want the stocked tobacco-free capsule line, or compare it with NEO and Kent. Then decide whether tobacco content matters. VEO is tobacco-free but contains nicotine. VIRTO contains real tobacco. Neither description means nicotine-free, and neither product should be described as safe, harmless or a way to quit.

Capsules are the next dividing line. Every VEO stick has one. VIRTO has none. If you want the option of a capsule, VIRTO is not worth choosing for you. If you want a plain real-tobacco stick for Hilo, VEO is the wrong format even though both lines are associated with glo.

Finally, compare price. VEO is EUR 68 per carton. VIRTO is EUR 76 per carton. The cheaper option is not a substitute for the more expensive one because they fit different devices and contain different materials.

Nicotine, tobacco and the legal position

VEO is tobacco-free, but it contains nicotine carried on processed plant or cellulose fibre. Tobacco-free must never be read as nicotine-free. VIRTO contains real tobacco. Both are nicotine products intended for adults aged 18 and over.
